WARN THEM #FIVE: THE PERFECT STORM

   

  In another dream, I was on a cruise ship that Jesus high-jacked. I believe this represents a remnant of His body that He is now taking for Himself out of the world, religion, and out of the “cruise ship” mentality, as opposed to a “battleship” voyage He desires us to be on.

     On the ship were many rooms, both big and small. All the rooms were along intricate green hallways. I believe this means Jesus is leading His people to their proper place through His words of life (the color green) in a very complex fashion.

     In the dream, I had access to Jesus. I said to Him, I heard from the crew that we are going to get hit by a giant wave en route to Cartagena. When I pondered our destination, Cartagena, I thought of the movie, Romancing the Stone. Cartagena was the discovery place of a large gemstone. Jesus is our Rock. Romance with Him is the most magnificent love affair the world has ever known. He is the Pearl of Great Price. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls,  and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it” (Matthew 13:45-46, NASB).The Kingdom of Heaven is the Church’s destination. The storm’s purpose is to bring us to this realization.

     Jesus told me:

 The wave was building up and heading toward us from Hawaii, and it would hit us in one week.

Seven is the number of God’s completeness. This “wave” will cause that which needs to be completed to be completed. Hawaii is a symbol because of its motto: “The land is healed in perpetual righteousness.” If we walked in more of the Lord’s righteousness, we would take more ground for the Kingdom. “[If] My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14, NASB).

     In the dream, we stopped at a port. I asked the Captain, Why can’t we stay in port for the week? Referring to the wave, He said,

We have to face it.

     We went out to sea, and I saw a destroyer in the ocean. I didn’t understand until later what, or rather who, the destroyer was. “See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc” (Isaiah 54:16, NIV).

     The precursor waves were huge—anywhere between ten and 30 feet tall. I saw a big one coming, and I said to the Captain, Is that it? He responded,

No.

I saw a white ship get wiped out by it, and I knew it was a ministry.
     Continuing my chatter with Jesus, I asked, Since You high-jacked this boat, why can’t You high-jack the destroyer because it is better protected against  a severe wave.”
    He responded,

I can’t do that. We have to take it on in this vessel. I had only hoped the boat would have been wider.

I immediately understood what He meant. That terminology is taken from this apostolic prayer by Paul:

 “For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:14-19, NIV, emphasis mine)

     Jesus hoped the Church being pulled out of a cruise ship mentality would know how wide and deep His love is for them (us) before this thing hits. You see, His perfect love will wipe out the fear associated with the perfect storm. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love” (1 John 4:18, NASB).

     In the dream, I went on to warn some Church fathers on the ship about their connection to Jezebel. They needed to rid themselves of associating with her.

     My room was number 374; I knew it represented Psalm 37:4. It reads: “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them” (Psalm 34:7, NASB). Praise Jesus!

     In the next scene, I was picking my son up from school. He represents intercessors to me. I saw someone whose name means “warrior.”  I said to her; We escaped the wave. How did we do it? I have no recollection of what happened.

     She said, You gave us a wake-up call at 2:30. We got up and prepared ourselves. The wave hit, and we made it over. That was the end of the dream. I believe 2:30 speaks of the message of Psalm 23: Intimately knowing the Good Shepherd, who leads us through the dark valleys.
